Supply Chain Leader

Supply Chain Leader i2 Technologies’ premier marketing asset is its bi-annual Supply Chain Leader magazine. As well as showcasing the company’s supply chain solutions portfolio, articles were designed to emphasize i2′s  breadth of operational and strategic expertise and thought leadership in its marketplace. I developed articles, worked with writers, co-wrote articles with i2 executives and wrote a by-lined interview (p.29) for the Fall, 2008 issue, linked here in its entirety.

Securitas Systems

Sales and Marketing Brochures

Securitas Sales Handout
This four-page brochure was one of several case histories I wrote to support Securitas Systems US’s  introduction to the US marketplace. A prime marketing objective was to distinguish Securitas US from established competitors in the enterprise security space by emphasizing the company’s range of security solutions and integration and support services, such as this heroic restoration of the entire access control infrastructure for an oil refinery devastated by Katrina.

ERI Journal

Supply Chain Manufacturing and Logistics

My experience as editor and writer has evolved along with the IT industry, beginning with the bar code, as Editor of ID Systems magazine during the early 1990s. ID Systems ultimately morphed into Supply Chain Manufacturing & Logistics (SCML), and then ERI Journal (ERIJ), as automated input technologies expanded to include increasingly sophisticated business software. Enterprise systems integrated with manufacturing, and warehouse and logistics systems to form intra- and inter-industry supply chains spanning the globe. Included here are 2 of some 200 articles—in ERIJ, on strategies and technologies supporting strategic differentiation in the grocery industry, and in SCML, touting the (as yet unfulfilled) promise of RFID.
